I am a mother to a beautiful little girl and like most parents struggle with being
time poor but I always make sure I make time for me. Fitting in time to train and
do the things I enjoy ensures ‘mummy’ wakes up and goes to bed with a smile on
her face. Not only does training give me more energy for day-to-day activities, it also
releases endorphins that keep me positive for my little girl, my clients and
I do my best to inspire and motivate people on a day-to-day basis. Everything I do, as much as I do it for myself, I do it for my little girl and hope she will grow up to be a strong, independent woman just like her mum.
I understand life can sometimes get hectic for us all but we can't lose sight of what makes us happy and feel good. ULTIMATELY we are living the story we write for ourselves. So don’t forget to make sure you’re the STAR of your story and that you take care of the one temple you will be living in forever.
I decided to become a personal trainer after discovering my passion for health and fitness and realising how great it felt to get into shape after such a major body change during pregnancy. It was then that "KDPT Fitness" was born.
This is my passion and I live and breathe it. However finding a balance is the key to success. In my fitness career my biggest achievement thus far has been getting my body into amazing shape only 1 year after having my daughter. In the 10 months that followed I dedicated myself to take on one of my biggest accomplishments. I trained to achieve my goal to compete as a fitness model and took home first place in the over 30’s category on the 25th May 2013. This was a challenging journey but it taught me a lot, made me stronger than ever and reiterated for me that anything is possible. .
I have had great success in achieving new milestones in my career which include;
- Partnering up with the XRslide team to show the world of fitness what great things can be achieved.
- Gaining sponsorship from the Athletics 8 family and Fullfitment Coaching Team.
- Modeling for and featuring in Health and Fitness magazine.
- I am now preparing for another Fitness Competition after working hard to develop and transform my body further.
I'm living proof that you can be in the best shape of your life even after children.
